Some stretches run between high mountains and can be closed due to snow in winter. If you are planning to come in winter, make sure you have good snow chains in your car. The poor public transportation network in the region has fostered the creation of a private transportation network known as shared taxis to cover a large variety of routes. Shared taxis offer the possibility of getting to remote villages out of the main roads, but also getting to big cities in different regions at the desired time. Fares are usually fixed in advance.
