The remains of Gilareny Castle are on a small craggy hill by the river Noguera Pallaresa, near Llavorsí, a small charming village. It is unknown when the castle was built.
Lladorre Castle is on a hill by the river Noguera de Cardós, right in front of the village of Lladorre. It is a medieval castle whose exact year of construction is uncertain.
An extraordinary view of Àneu Valley can be seen from Llort Castle. It lies on a high craggy hill and it used to be one of Pallars Earldom's most important strategic defensive point.
Malmercat Castle is in the village with the same name and it lies among the house that were built on it and all around it. The remains prove the medieval origin of the village.
The castle lies at a strategic place from where you have an amazing panoramic view of the valley and Rialp, the village at the bottom. It used to be a very important castle, because it controlled the acces to Àssua Valley and the northenmost areas in the region.
Sort Castle was the main home of the Earls of Pallars during Middle Ages. The castle is on a hill in the upper part of the town and from there you can see an exceptional view of the village and the area.
Tavascan Castle is on a small hill north to the village with the same name. It dates back from 12th Century and some excavation works have recently been done.
València d'Àneu Castle overlooks the wide green plain in the heart of Àneu Valley. It lies between two rivers and it is one of the main historical sites in the region.
Impressive square base tower located in Alins, next to the Castellarnau manor. It was used as Ferrera Valley's prison until 1670.

Guillem Tower is one of Alins's symbols. It is a stunning medieval tower that was used as a dovecot for some years.

Round base watchtower near Espot. It is 13 meters high and 7 meters wide. It is a good place to enjoy a nice view of the village and the sorrounding area.
